Prices Leak For New Garmin Solar Watches (Fenix 7 Pro Series)

The prices for the upcoming Garmin Fenix 7 series Solar Edition watches has been leaked. The models included in the leak were the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro, Fenix 7S Pro, and Fenix 7X Pro. The 7 Pro and 7S Pro Solar models are expected to cost $945, and the 7X Pro Solar is expected to cost $1,057. They are offered in 42mm, 47mm, and 51mm sizes. This is on the higher end of the price scale for smartwatches. However, Garmin smartwatches are equipped with long battery life, advanced navigation and sports features that are useful to anyone engaging in athletic or sporting activities. The solar feature is a bonus as well.

These new Garmin watches are also equipped with larger heart rate sensors, which may facilitate more LEDs and improved accuracy. The watches also contain metallic contacts surrounding their sensors, which might be used for an ECG. Smartwatch ECGs usually entail your skin making contact with a metal part (for example: the metal crown on the Apple Watches). This is in contrast to heart rate sensors, which are optical and use a combination of LEDs and optical sensors to determine your heart rate.
