The 4-Door AMG GT Is Competitive With It’s 2-Door Sister

The 4-Door Mercedes-AMG GT coupe is a 4-door performance car that was introduced earlier this year as an alternative to its 2-door sister — the two-door AMG GT coupe.

While not an enormous car, the 4-door AMG GT coupe bridges the gap between the larger luxury sedans and the disadvantages of having smaller two-door sports cars, such as no back doors and little cargo/cabin room.

The price of the 4-door AMG GT coupe will start at  $136,500 (not the GT63S model described here, and a $995 destination charge may apply).

The (GT63S model) accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 3.2 seconds, and the 639 HP V8 bi-turbo engine produces a satisfying 900 Nm (663 foot-pounds) of torque with the help of the AMG Speedshift MCT 9-speed transmission. The top speed is 315 km/h (195 mph).
